Started in 2009, Bask-It-Style – a twist on traditional celebrity gifting – is all about creating VIP gift bags filled with new, innovative and premium brands, to be hand delivered to the city’s top hotels, (and publicists) for placement in their visiting A list celebrity guests’ suites. On top of gifting, we host a media preview day, where top-tier media connect with brand representatives and interact with the products celebrities will get in their bags.

Goal

Garnish media attention for sponsors involved in the initiative as well as help them launch a new product, or raise the profile of existing products successfully.

About the Campaign

Bask-It-Style is a heavy media relations focused campaign. It’s a one day desk side, with 80 top tier outlets attending to meet with sponsors and find out about their products and brands. We plan a full day with media appointments and introduce the media to the brand representatives.

Campaign Results

Since 2014, we have garnished over 920 million impressions across Canada. We were featured in top outlets, including on CTV Your Morning, CP24, Breakfast Television Toronto, CHCH Morning Live, the Toronto Sun, Toronto Life, LouLou, the Huffington Post and SheDoestheCity. Also, participants use the lounge to help bank upcoming stories with media outlets for Holiday Gift Guides and Summer Shopping Lists.
